Your First Visit to Boldt Dental
If you’re having a dental emergency, your first visit will be focused on relieving the immediate concern.
For New Patient Exams:
At your first appointment, Dr. Boldt will spend time with you, getting to know what your current dental concerns are, what your previous dental experiences have been and will help you to identify the goals you have for your oral health and smile.
Dr. Boldt likes to use the initial comprehensive exam as a teaching tool to help you understand exactly what is happening with your mouth and why. We will gather information about the condition of the teeth, gums, bone support, jaw joints, bite and appearance. An oral cancer screening and any necessary digital x-rays will be done. You will have the opportunity to “see what Dr. Boldt sees” with the help of our intraoral video camera that displays images of your teeth on our monitor.
After gathering all this information, Dr. Boldt will develop a plan that meets the goals you have for your oral health and will prioritize any necessary treatment for you. He will go over your treatment options and answer all your questions at the review appointment. Making sure that recommended care fits in your budget is important, we have several financial options to help you.
